About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Learning Partner to join our team. This position will be best suited for someone who enjoys a diverse range of working environments, from travelling regionally to visiting stations and feedlots and also supporting the corporate team in Newstead.  In this role, you will partner closely with key internal stakeholders to provide learning and training solutions that address current and future business challenges. 

Your key responsibilities will include the following:  

  • Partner with Key internal stakeholders to implement the operations Skills Framework (OSFW), Work instructions and verification of Competency as the Operations training lead.
  • Lead the annual review cycles associated with OSFW, work instructions and verification of competency for continuous simplification and improvement whilst maintaining compliance.
  • Coordinate operations Train-the-trainer and training assessors and provide training/ coaching as required.
  • Support with the development of execution of AACO’s learning and development functions across Pastoral and Intensive operations.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to develop and maintain the organisational learning calendar.
  • Assist with evaluating, analysing, reporting and tracking return on investments and training effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Liaise with apprentice centres, TAFEs and stations/feedlot managers to ensure everyone is on track to fulfil their learning commitments.

 

What you will bring to this role:

  • 1-2 years of Training Coordination/ Human Resources or Vocational Education and Training experience within the agriculture industry or multi-site operations organisation.
  • Strong computer literacy and eLearning development skills.
  • Knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training Systems including Apprenticeships and Traineeships and Training funding.
  • Experience with learning management systems including course design and development, reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant statutes and legislation.
  • Strategic problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
  • Willingness to regularly travel to our regional and interstate properties and spend time on the ground with our people.
