Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Station Operations Officer to support our Dalgonally and Currum properties in North Queensland. This role is based at Dalgonally Station, located 80 km north of Julia Creek and 189 km north-east of Cloncurry. Dalgonally is a vital part of our cattle operations network, focused on breeding F1s and PB Wagyus to support our premium beef production.

This vital role ensures the smooth running of the station office and homestead. You’ll be responsible for meeting key monthly deadlines, fostering a positive station culture, and maintaining high standards in all areas of operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead health, safety, and first aid management on site.
  • Handle all station administration tasks, including timely processing of invoices and adherence to budgets.
  • Oversee kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of meals within budget guidelines.
  • Maintain the presentation of gardens, homestead buildings, and station surroundings.
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, visitors, and training groups.
  • Coordinate operational maintenance activities, including liaising with tradespeople.

Desired Skills and Experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Current driver’s license and First Aid Certificate.
  • Financial acumen and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry software.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems and company policies.
  • Experience in administration and exposure to station operations (preferred).
