Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely perform your job and take responsibility for your safe work behaviour.
  • Primarily the role is transporting livestock, on and off station, secondary jobs include the transportation of machinery and resources on and off station.
  • Complete maintenance work to an agreed level of competency that is required on the Road train and keep records of the work carried out.
  • Maintain any and all internal company documentation.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Current MC license required.
  • Livestock handling experience.
  • Fatigue management knowledge and/ or certificate.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential, this is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door driving, with plenty of on-station experience and training (as required).
  • General machine maintenance experience.
  • Good communication skills.
