We are on the hunt for a Feedmill Hand to join our team in Aronui in a Permanent Full-time position. Aronui is the oldest commercial feedlot in Australia, the feedlot is situated on a basalt ridge near Dalby in Queensland and is fortunate to draw in water supply underground bores in the Great Artesian Basin. It is 20Km north of Dalby and 3 hours west of Brisbane.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Feedmill Manager, your key duties will include:
Completing general Feedmill & Feedlot duties.
Operating and maintaining machinery.
Maintain a clean hygienic working environment.
Identifying and reporting any existing or potential faults & quality problems.
Carry out feeding of livestock in accordance with Mill procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Experience:
Current Drivers License
An understanding of intensive livestock production systems.
Previous machinery maintenance and mill operation experience.
Ability to work autonomously and within team.
Strong problem-solving and computer skills.
Experience working towards deadlines and working under pressure.
Understanding of Quality Assurance programs.
