Dalgonally Station is located 80km north of Julia Creek and 189km north east of Cloncurry, in close proximity to Carrum Station. The property is a growing out station for cattle from the breeding stations. Dalgonally runs predominantly Brahman cattle.

Job Description
Are you ready to experience life on a station while making a real difference in children's education? We’re on the lookout for a Home Tutor to help guide and support four children doing distance education through Mount Isa School of the Air. The children are completing Years 4, 6, 7, and 8, and you'll be part of both their learning journey and everyday station life. The Year 7 and 8 students will require only occasional supervision until they head of for boarding school.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily school lessons and educational programs, ensuring adherence to the curriculum.
Maintain contact with teachers via phone, email, and reporting systems, providing feedback to parents and liaising on student progress.
Plan and prepare lessons, encouraging extracurricular activities such as sports, art, and science.
Provide childcare outside school hours as needed when both parents are working.
Maintain a child-safe environment and ensure the schoolroom is clean, tidy, and safe.
Assist with tasks including cleaning, washing, supplementary feeding, and other duties as directed by management.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain personal equipment in good condition.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge and Skills
Experience in tutoring or distance education is an advantage.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated interest in arts, crafts, and extracurricular development.
Computer literacy and attention to detail.
Current driver's License
A practical, resourceful, and safety-conscious approach to all tasks.
Working With Children Check (QLD blue Card required).
