We are looking for a Nanny to join our team in Glentana. Glentana is situated 100km west of Springsure in the Buckland Plateau area. It has undergone an extensive program of development, pasture sowing, water storage and fencing of formerly Brigalow timbered land on fertile soils.

Job Description
As a Nanny, you'll play a vital role in shaping young minds and providing educational support. Beyond the classroom, you'll also take on a variety of general station duties, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities that support children’s development, both indoors and outdoors
Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment, including schoolroom, play areas, and children's personal spaces
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, and manage related domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
Supervise children safely in all settings, using sun-safe practices and following established safety procedures
Organise daily tasks efficiently, ensuring materials and equipment are ready ahead of time
Support general station operations as needed, including cleaning, basic cooking, supplement distribution, and equipment upkeep
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role, with tutoring or distance education experience highly regarded
Strong computer literacy and confident using technology for educational and communication purposes
Demonstrated understanding of child development and ability to support individual learning needs
Hold a current QLD Blue Card and valid Driver’s Licence
Reliable and detail-oriented, with excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach
Self-motivated with a mature, practical attitude and sound problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to contributing beyond core responsibilities
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team
