Job Description

About the Role

This is a hands-on, 9-month parental leave contract where you’ll be right at the heart of the action. You’ll manage customer sales orders, help optimise finished goods inventory, coordinate production planning, and respond to client needs. Working closely with a supportive Supply Chain Operations Team, you’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly from order through to delivery.

What you’ll do:

  •  Plan shipments and order fulfilment to maximise delivery performance, freight efficiency, and product flow
  • Tackle production shortages by coordinating with logistics and aligning shipping schedules
  • Maintain and support ERP systems (JD Edwards) for smooth operations and visibility
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver practical, solutions-focused outcomes
  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes
  • Keep key stakeholders informed of any supply changes
  • Use planning tools (like ATP) and assist with broader supply chain operations as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy
  • Confident communicator with the ability to simplify technical language
  • Solid understanding of Incoterms and international trade processes
  • Effective stakeholder management and team collaboration skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks independently
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a mature approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, changing environments with a strong sense of urgency
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in food, agricultural, or export industries
  • Familiar with administrative systems, export documentation, and Microsoft Office

What's in it for you?

  • Love working in a newly refurbished office in a central location.
  • Enjoy flexible working arrangements with 4 days from home and just 1 day in the office each week.
