About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to grow AACo’s premium beef brands across key markets and channels in Sydney. This autonomous, field-based role focuses on strategic account management, driving financial performance, and expanding branded distribution.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll build strong relationships with chefs, retailers, and distributors, championing our brand story and high-quality Australian produce. You’ll also support marketing initiatives, educate customers on product provenance, and turn challenges into opportunities with agility and care.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Own your sales territory, manage key accounts and venues, and maintain a focused call plan to drive high-impact relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and activity in CRM systems and provide regular updates on wins, risks, and territory momentum
  • Partner closely with distributors to drive brand visibility and ensure field execution meets AACo standards
  • Build strong relationships with chefs and trade partners and deliver in-venue activations, tastings, and staff training
  • Identify and support brand advocates; collect and action customer feedback to enhance loyalty and performance
  • Monitor competitors and market trends and provide real-time insights to inform strategy and commercial decisions

Desired Skills and Experience

What you will bring to this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, key account management, or field-based business development, ideally within FMCG, foodservice, or premium goods sectors
  • Demonstrated success in building and nurturing strategic B2B relationships with an influential customer base
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and professional presence in customer-facing environments
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail and data-driven decision-making
  • Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and premium brands, with a deep appreciation for quality and provenance
