About the Opportunity:
We're on the lookout for a proactive Finance Support Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll help keep our accounts payable and receivable processes on track, support the day-to-day running of our finance operations, and get involved in projects and process improvements. You'll also help review and maintain our finance policies and procedures, making sure everything’s current and being followed.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
Prepare and process weekly payment runs
Maintain and organise supporting documentation for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Validate sub-ledgers and ensure accuracy of transactional data
Perform control checks and assist with month-end close activities
Respond to and support general finance-related queries
Prepare reporting on process integrity, master data, and business insights for the Finance Services team
Assist with ad hoc finance projects and tasks as required
Desired Skills and Experience
What you will bring to this role:
Previous experience in a Business Services or finance support environment
Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to tailor to different stakeholders.
Experience building relationships with remote or cross-functional teams (preferred)
Familiarity with JDE or similar ERP systems (advantageous)
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
Able to influence, take initiative, and drive quality outcomes
Degree in accounting, finance, or 3+ years’ relevant experience
