Job Description
About the role:
As a Graduate Analyst, you’ll play a key role across our finance and operations teams, turning data into insights that lead to smarter decisions and more efficient processes. You’ll collaborate with station and business teams to understand what drives performance, reconcile key data, and support accurate month-end reporting. Key Responsibilities
Support month-end close by preparing journals, accruals, reconciliations, and management reports
Conduct variance analysis and investigate anomalies to ensure data accuracy
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, Capex reporting, and business case development
Assist with budget tracking and processing of project invoices
Identify and recommend improvements to reporting processes and data accuracy
Support automation and dashboard development for performance tracking
Ensure compliance with financial controls and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
Assist in managing AACo’s innovation project portfolio and committee contributions
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
Bachelor of Commerce (or similar), majoring in accounting
Commitment to undertake CA, CPA or similar post graduate qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional finance environment
A demonstrated interest in rural Australian communities and lifestyles will be viewed favourably
