About the Opportunity:
As our Innovation Projects Officer, you’ll help bring fresh ideas to life by supporting a range of research and development projects. From managing timelines to digging into data, you’ll play a key role in making sure our innovation efforts stay on track and make a real impact across the business and the communities we’re part of.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
Manage and deliver internal and externally funded R&D projects, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, contracting, and reporting
Analyse data and statistics to generate meaningful insights that support decision-making
Identify opportunities for innovation and drive continuous improvement across projects
Prepare accurate and timely reports to monitor progress and support project management
Coordinate and support the delivery of innovation projects, including stakeholder engagement, sample collection and data management, budget tracking, reporting, and communication of scientific outcomes to station teams and committees
Desired Skills and Experience
What you will bring to this role:
Tertiary qualifications in Agribusiness, Science, or a related field
Practical experience applying your field of study in real-world settings
Strong project management skills and advanced computer literacy
High-level report writing and presentation capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
Initiative to take action and contribute beyond core responsibilities
Collaborative approach with a focus on shared goals and effective cross-business relationships
