Job Description
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Station Manager who is ready to take ownership of Rewan Station and lead daily operations.
You’ll be responsible for managing the property, leading a small team, and ensuring Rewan continues to deliver high-quality Wagyu cattle into the feedlot network. This role suits someone who is organised, people-focused, and passionate about safe, productive station operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day station operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
Oversee cattle management across all backgrounding activities.
Foster a strong team culture built on communication, safety, and shared success.
Manage budgets, planning, and reporting requirements for the property.
Maintain property infrastructure and coordinate contractors when required.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Livestock teams.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Experience in station management or senior-level operations within a cattle enterprise.
Strong leadership capability and a genuine commitment to developing people.
Sound livestock handling skills, with experience in backgrounding operations beneficial.
Confidence with planning, reporting, and operational decision‑making.
A proactive approach to safety, wellbeing, and property care.
